Marco D’Alessandro Jr. is the oldest sibling of the family and the first to begin posting content. He dreamed of being a content creator ever since he was a young kid and finally began working on it full-time during post-undergraduate studies.
Marco attended St. John’s University where he studied international communications and earned a master’s degree. He now lectures there as a professor and teaches classes related to digital media design and storytelling in media formats.
Since his start, Marco has amassed over 10 billion views and built a network of nearly 12 million followers across all platforms.
Fun fact: the nickname “Codells” comes from both his first and last name being condensed into one word. His nickname growing up was “co,” which are the last two letters of his first name. As for the “dells,” that comes from his coaches shortening his last name “D’Alessandro” to more efficiently yell across the field when trying to get his attention. Hence, the name Codells was born and has stuck ever since.
